01CORE MISSION

Corporate Foundation & Strategy

The Sampala Project is a strategic nickel mining initiative under Nickel Industries Limited, committed to supporting the global transition to clean and sustainable energy. Located in Desa Le-Le, Bahodopi, within the Morowali district of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, the project comprises three contiguous nickel concessions— PT Mandiri Jaya Nickel (MJN), PT Erabaru Timur Lestari (ETL), and CV Gita Flora (GF)—with a combined area of 6,654 hectares.

03OPERATIONAL SCOPE

Downstream Expansion & Infrastructure

As of the latest assessments, the project boasts an initial JORC-compliant Mineral Resource of 187 million dry metric tonnes (dmt) at an average grade of 1.2% nickel and 0.09% cobalt, equating to approximately 2.3 million tonnes of contained nickel and 0.2 million tonnes of cobalt . Notably, this resource estimate is based on exploration of just 900 hectares, representing a fraction of the total project area.
